oyster craving

This picture was taken by Charlie, my former Korean student. A typical life in Villa-- strolling along the shore, breathing fresh air, eating fresh foods such as oyster, fish, grilled pork. Wow! How I miss those days I had in my hometown. My friends and I usually come to Stanley's or Anne's Place to have some grilled fish, 7 up or Pepsi, rice, not to mention OYSTER! Love it! If you haven't tried it, better try it. It's so delicious. Actually, I can not easily digest oyster, but the girl who waited on us gave me a tip since I cannot help myself, but eat the mouth watering seafood. Here's how to eat the oyster without having to deal with indigestion aftermath. First, put some rice in your spoon. Then, the oyster among the rice and eat. Lastly, drink Pepsi after 3-5 spoonfuls. I didn't worry about indigestion after that. Thanks to her. haha! I suggest that you eat oyster with your bare hands. Most people eat with their bare hands. It's the traditional way of eating in my country.

This picture was taken in my previous university. I took it from my "selca" (Konglish which means self camera..*^_^*). I got a not-so-free phone from my internet provider, so I'm taking time to use the camera. There are students playing soccer and I was trying to focus the girls on the right side, but my "selca" has a very low capacity to take pictures. Well, I could not yet afford to buy a Sony Cybershot camera, so I have to deal with my "selca". Anyway, I took a picture of the soccer game because it reminded me of my college days. I was also a part of the women's soccer team in my batch. I really had fun playing soccer. I had experienced to be a forward, half back, and quarter back. If you'd ask me which spot is the best, it's half back. Being a quarter back is too boring if the forwards were too strong in guarding the goal. On the other hand, it's too tiresome to be a forward. haha!

meandering

I had been very busy today. For the past few days, I've never been as busy as I am today. I was trying to prepare the papers I'd be needing for an application at UPOU. It stands for University of the Philippines Open University. I am quite apprehensive about it because I really want to pursue my masters, but I couldn't because of time constraint. However, I really want to do it this time, I'm very much eager to do it and give it a try again. I hope that it is God's will that I'd be able to finish this in two years. I am also planning to take another degree which is communication disorder. I believe that this can also help me in my future business. I really want to put up my own company, but I don't have much resources and experiences now. Probably when I reach 30 I can do it. As for now, I have to study hard!! (flex)

Thoughts on being in love

Have you ever been in love?

Can you tell the unexplainable feeling that you are trying to neglect, but you could afford to do it? It’s like eating a slice of “death by chocolate” cake in Amigo Plaza Hotel. It looks like an ordinary cake in the outside, but you cannot explain why it’s very mouth-watering and insanely delicious. The layers of mallows, toffee, dark chocolate and crunchy wafer soothes in a way to please your palate. Awesome, isn’t it? It’s also like eating the Chocó-banana split ice cream of Magnolia. There is a symphony of flavors and aroma of chocolate and banana that gives a cool feeling. Wow, isn’t it obvious that these are my favorite food. No wonder, my weight kept on increasing despite the exercise I’m doing. *wink*

Well, many people fall to Cupid’s trap. It’s this mischievous little boy who tries to pull his string anywhere he likes and he doesn’t care whatever happen to those unfaithful lovers who have been stricken by the magic dart. It also comes in various ranges of ages, young, and old alike. Then, who’d be at stake? Whose life would be at stake? It could be the man’s life or the woman’s life. Whose fault will it be? Blame it to Cupid. On the second thought, why do we have to fall on these traps? For us to learn something or maybe to relearn the things we have learned? People like me try to relearn the things we've already learned. Maybe we’re just hopelessly in love and think that there is good in every person’s heart. Therefore, give chance to the person who’ll knock at the door of your heart and let him or her enter. Anyway, life is just a matter of moving on. Don’t try to dwell into your long lost love. Even if you’ll do lots of things to make that person come back, if you’re not meant for each other, you will never be together. All you can do is to cry endless nights and run out of appetite to eat. It’s good though because you’ll lose some pounds, but is this the price we have to pay after our partner fall out of love? Well, if you think it’s worth it, then go and seek for love again. We are all entitled to be happy, ayt?

of mice and of men??

Well, thanks to John Steinbeck for lending me this title. The world is just a war between men and mice. Men wanted to get far off better than the others while mice get bullied and played around. It's just a suction of the evil and nothing but plain evil. How can we have lived in such a world like this? How can we get to be fitted in the world where we are into? Who damn cares for someone like me, who'd just get dumped and trashed again and again? Well, that's really life is. Sort of a rat race. A maddened reality of something that sucked you out of peace, out of yourself, to leave you breathless, nothing but a bare of sack as clothing. Well, you can do better than that, without really letting yourself into this mad race. Or not letting yourself into this dog-eat-dog world. Anyway, you lead thy self. You are the captain of your ship and the master of your soul. Why should go with the made race? Why should you beat the tycoons? You can be yourself. Just yourself. You can beat them, but don't join them. It's much more dangerous when you try to join them. You'll just end up being trashed or in the sewers...and worst being executed. Just show what you're capable of. Just that your confident enough to beat them. Show that you can make a difference. Well, that's what world is...be unique, make a difference!
